FPL were appointed by the owners of the golf club to take over the design of new pavilions at High Legh Park Golf Club. As a multi – professional design practice we were able to offer a complete design package that not only assessed the existing design, but also recommended the best approach to complete the project.  The disciplines of which the client took advantage were Architect, Structural Engineering, M&E Engineering, Procurement & Cost Control and Project Management.

The development consisted of three separate pavilions, a cube, a drum and a rectangular block, which was designed to thread through the landscape. The 27-hole championship course was designed by former Ryder Cup captain Mark James and the clubhouse building, featured cedar cladding and Danish brick.

The second phase of the development involved the design, construction and fit-out of a restaurant facility. This had over 100 covers and separate function rooms and enabled members to take a more active role in the club, as well as raising revenue from external parties.
