Finlason Partnership is delighted to announce the opening up of an opportunity for the employment of a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. Every year we are able to offer a placement to an architectural student as part of their ongoing education, to employ them for their year in industry, providing them an in-depth and wide ranging experience of architectural practice. Past students have thoroughly enjoyed their time spent with us, with the RIBA North West being continually impressed with the experience displayed through our students PEDR records. Recent graduates have come from architectural schools in the North West and further afield. The opportunity is available in our office in Hale, Cheshire, in the south of Manchester, easily accessible from Manchester and its surrounding areas.

As a practice we take the education of our students very seriously providing them with opportunities to experience and take part in all stages of the design and delivery process. You will be treated as a key part of the team here at FPL and will be involved in different roles on numerous projects. As an employee you will experience projects in all sectors and at all stages of the RIBA Outline of Work Stages. Mentorship will be carried out by a highly qualified and experienced Architect and Director. Your experience will include training on our CAD systems, which include Microstation and SketchUp, as well as having the chance to visit sites.
